NOVELTY - Preparing composite material based on cerium oxide/graphene involves dispersing cerium source, sodium hydroxide and sodium dodecyl sulfhate in the solvent to obtain the initial solution, dissolving the graphene in de-ionized water, ultrasonically processing to form graphene suspension, uniformly mixing the graphene suspension with the initial solution, calcining to obtain solid-liquid mixture, collecting the precipitate in the solid-liquid mixture, cleaning and drying the precipitate, secondary calcining to obtain product. USE - Method for preparing composite material based on cerium oxide/graphene used in a fluorinated sulfur acyl gas sensor. ADVANTAGE - The cerium oxide/graphene composite material has high sensitivity to SO2F2 gas, stable cycle performance, and improved response rate and recovery rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. Method for using composite material based on cerium oxide/graphene, involving: a. dissolving cerium oxide/graphene composite material and ethanol and coating on the surface of the interdigital electrode of the gas sensor to form a sensitive layer; and 2. Fluorinated sulfur acyl gas sensitive sensor, comprises interdigital electrode, where the interdigital electrode surface is attached with a sensitive layer, the sensitive layer is cerium oxide/graphene composite material.
