NOVELTY - A graphene-modified activated carbon air filter preparing method involves mixing activated carbon into pure water and dispersing the graphene into a solvent to form a mixed solution, where the activated carbon is mixed with graphene at mass ratio of 10 to 10000: 1, and graphene concentration is 0.1-10 g/l. The mixed solution is treated by a hydrothermal method, and the product of the hydrothermal reaction is filtered and dried in vacuum to obtain a graphene-modified activated carbon air filter. USE - Method for preparing graphene-modified activated carbon air filter. ADVANTAGE - The filter has excellent adsorption efficiency, purification efficiency and improved air quality, and can be prepared in simple, easy and cost effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene-modified activated carbon air filter preparing method involves mixing activated carbon into pure water and dispersing the graphene into a solvent to form a mixed solution, where the activated carbon is mixed with graphene at mass ratio of 10 to 10000: 1, and graphene concentration is 0.1-10 g/l. The mixed solution is treated by a hydrothermal method, and the product of the hydrothermal reaction is filtered and dried in vacuum to obtain a graphene-modified activated carbon air filter, where the hydrothermal treatment is performed by stirring mixed solution at 20-200 degrees C for 30 minutes to 3 hours with a stirring rate of 50- 400 rpm.
