NOVELTY - A graphene nickel-phosphorus plating solution contains graphene, nickel sulfate, sodium hypophosphite, sodium acetate, citric acid, lactic acid, propionic acid, composite stabilizer, and balance distilled water, in which composite stabilizer contains thiourea, potassium iodate, and potassium iodide, and plating solution is obtained by mixing graphene, nickel sulfate, sodium hypophosphite, sodium acetate, citric acid, lactic acid, propionic acid and composite stabilizing agents, adding into distilled water to dissolve, and adjusting pH. USE - A graphene nickel-phosphorus plating solution for coating steel alloy surfaces (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Solution forms a hard and abrasion resistant coating on metal surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene nickel-phosphorus plating solution contains graphene 0.25-1 g/L solution, nickel sulfate 20-25 g/L solution, sodium hypophosphite 15-20 g/L solution, sodium acetate 15 g/L solution, citric acid 8-10 g/L solution, lactic acid 4 ml/L solution, propionic acid 4 ml/L solution, composite stabilizer 41 mg/L solution, and balance distilled water, in which composite stabilizer contains thiourea, potassium iodate, and potassium iodide in mass ratio of 1:20:20, and plating solution is obtained by mixing graphene, nickel sulfate, sodium hypophosphite, sodium acetate, citric acid, lactic acid, propionic acid and composite stabilizing agents, adding into distilled water to dissolve, adding 10% sodium hydroxide solution to adjust pH value to 4.2-5.6. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for plating process of steel allow which involves sanding surface of steel alloy using 320# and 280# sand paper, polishing, cleaning, washing with 27 mass% sodium hydroxide solution at 80-100 degrees C for 15-20 minutes, rinsing with water for 2 minutes, washing with 10 mass% hydrochloric acid for 30 s, rinsing with water for 2 minutes, washing with 5 mass% hydrochloric acid activator for 30 s, rinsing with water for 2 minutes to obtain pre-treated steel alloy, soaking graphene nickel-phosphorus plating solution, aerating for 30-60 minutes, removing, washing with distilled water under temperature control of 15-25 degrees C, and drying.
