NOVELTY - Preparing graphene involves taking the graphene oxide in a sample vial, adding deionized water and then placing the vial in an ultrasonic cleaner for 30 min to obtain a yellow-brown oxide graphene dispersion. The pyrocatechol is added into the graphene dispersion solution and the pyrocatechol is fully dissolved by continuous stirring to obtain the mixed solution, where the amount of pyrocatechol is 1-10 wt.% of the total mass of the graphene oxide. The vial containing the mixed solution is heated in an oven to obtain a black dispersion. USE - Method for preparing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene, that has low energy consumption, high efficiency, good stability, can be stored for a long time, is safe, non-toxic and conductive.
