NOVELTY - Preparing electrode without current collector comprises (i) adding additive to solvent to obtain uniformly dispersed solid-liquid suspension, fully powderizing electrode active material and conductive additive and mixing them uniformly and adding to solid liquid suspension, then adding the adhesive into solid fluid suspension and fully mixing to obtain uniform dispersed slurry, (ii) kneading the resultant slurry in a kneader to obtain electrode slurry easy to bond and form, (iii) rolling the electrode slurry by rolling device for multiple times at room temperature, where in the step (i), the mixing is carried out by stirring, ultrasonic treatment and ball milling and the mixing time is 100 -180 minutes. In the step (ii) the kneading time of the slurry is 30 -80 minutes. In the step (iii) the rolling is carried out at 5 -40 ? and rolling for many times. In the step (i) the additive is water-soluble surfactant. USE - The electrode without current collector is useful in voltage water system super capacitor e.g. organic electrolyte system and/or an inorganic electrolyte system, electric automobile, aerospace, uninterruptible power supply and daily electronic consumer product. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple, economical and environmentally friendly, has high filling density, saves the energy; does not use organic solvent; can realize large-scale and continuous production and improve the production efficiency; and the obtained product has high filling density, large load amount of active material, excellent stability, conductivity and mechanical strength.
