NOVELTY - Preparing star cationic graphene dispersant involves initiating polymerization of acrylate monomers using bromine-containing star initiator to obtain star-shaped polymer containing bromine at terminal. The star-shaped bromine-containing star polymer is reacted with imidazole compound under inert atmosphere to obtain star-shaped cationic graphene dispersant. USE - Method enables to prepare star cationic graphene dispersant that is used in graphene dispersion, or used in the preparation of a graphene dispersant (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare star cationic graphene dispersant that has a special topological structure, has strong entropy protection, obvious steric hindrance, and has obvious advantages in dispersing graphene compared to linear polymers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing a graphene dispersion system, which involves initiating the polymerization of acrylate monomers using a bromine-containing star initiator to obtain a star-shaped polymer containing bromine at the terminal, reacting a star-shaped bromine-containing star polymer with an imidazole compound under an inert atmosphere to obtain a star cationic graphene dispersant, and adding the star cationic graphene dispersant to the dispersion solvent, and then adding graphene to disperse to obtain a graphene dispersion system; and (2) a method for preparing star cationic graphene dispersing agent, which involves initiating the polymerization of acrylate monomers using a bromine-containing star initiator to obtain a star-shaped polymer containing bromine at the terminal, and reacting the star-shaped bromine-containing star polymer with an imidazole compound under an inert atmosphere to obtain a star-shaped cationic graphene dispersing agent.
