NOVELTY - Electrode material composition comprises 90-98 pts. wt. active material, 0.5-5 pts. wt. conductive agent, 0.5-5 pts. wt. agglomerant, 0.01-5 pts. wt. organosilicon-modified acrylate polymer and 0.013.00 pts. wt. siloxane coupling agent. USE - The electrode material composition is useful in electrode pole piece for lithium-ion secondary battery. ADVANTAGE - The electrode material composition: uses a specific silicone-modified acrylate polymer and a siloxane coupling agent as a water-blocking additive, and through the design of the two and the synergistic effect between the components, improving the hydrophobicity of the electrode sheet, reducing the water absorption and water content of the electrode pole piece and prolonging the storage time; undergoes chemical crosslinking between the components to strengthen the force between the components and the current collector, thus improving the adhesion and peel strength of the electrode sheet, inhibiting the cracking of the electrode sheet, and making the electrode sheet containing other lithium-ion battery have lower internal resistance and excellent cycle performance.
