USE - Graphene/metal composite cathode material for use in a lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cathode material has high specific capacity, cycling stability and reliability, and exhibits high energy density and high power density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a graphene/metal composite cathode material, which involves preparing a metal electrode having an optical grating structure by chemical etching, preparing graphene/titanium dioxide composite particles by using redoxchemistry method, depositing graphene/titanium dioxide composite particles on the metal electrode, and carrying out heat treatment to obtain graphene/metal composite cathode material.
