NOVELTY - Preparing catalyst comprises (i) dissolving the sodium molybdate and L-cysteine in the deionized water and stirring to dissolve completely to obtain a solution; (ii) dispersing the fluorinated graphene into the deionized water, dispersing ultrasonically and completely, adding the obtained solution and ultrasonicating continuously for 10-20 minutes; and (iii) transferring the mixture obtained into the hydrothermal kettle, reacting for 20-28 hours at 120-300℃, centrifuging, filtering, washing with absolute ethyl alcohol and drying for 8-16 hours at 60-100℃. USE - The method is useful for preparing catalyst is useful for catalytic synthesis of imine. ADVANTAGE - The method: has simple steps and mild reaction conditions; and is economical.
