NOVELTY - Friction material comprises 52-66 pts. wt. matrix component, 4-7 pts. wt. friction component, 15-28 pts. wt. reinforcing component and 19-32 pts. wt. lubricating component, where the matrix component comprising copper-coated iron powder, the friction component comprising tungsten carbide, the reinforcing component comprising a transition metal alloy powder, and the lubricating component comprising graphene and/or silicon carbide whisker. USE - The friction material is useful for brake sheet (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: has high the heat resistance, substrate strength, reduces the heat decay and reduces the wear rate of itself; uses the copper coated-iron powder and other metal powder as matrix components, which can generate alloying, so as to improve the alloying degree between the metal powder, improves the mechanical performance of friction material; uses iron powder outer layer plated with a compact pure copper layer, which can improve the heat transfer channel of friction materials, improve the thermal conductivity and temperature conductivity of the material, and improve the service life of the materials.
