NOVELTY - Preparation of antibacterial material comprises pretreating diatomaceous earth (DE), preparing silver-loaded graphene oxide (Ag+-GO) by dropwise adding 0.1 mol/L silver nitrate solution into 1 mg/ml GO under magnetic stirring condition, where volume ratio of GO and AgNO3 solution is 1:1 and silver ions are uniformly combined on GO sheet, ultrasonically processing at 180 W and 60 kHz for 30 minutes, centrifuging at 13000 revolutions/minute, ultrasonically processing at 180 W and 60 kHz for 2 hours, dispersing in deionized water to obtain Ag+-GO dispersion and storing at 4 degrees C, preparing Ag+-GO/DE by weighing 10 g pretreated DE, adding 20 ml Ag+-GO dispersion, preparing into paste, oven drying at 70 degrees C, grinding and sieving by 100-mesh sieve, and preparing silver nanoparticle (AgNP)/GO/DE by dry grinding Ag+-GO/DE, adding to 50 ml of 0.2 mol/L sodium borohydride solution, magnetically stirring for 1 hour, oven drying at 70 degrees C, grinding and sieving by 100-mesh sieve. USE - Preparation of antibacterial material i.e. AgNP/GO/DE (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method improves the adsorption capacity and antibacterial ability of DE, solves the safety problem of AgNP-GO, improves the sustained release property of nano-silver, has simple steps and low cost, and is easy for mass production.
