NOVELTY - Preparing chitosan-graphene oxide composite material involves dispersing graphene oxide in water to obtain aqueous graphene oxide solution, and dissolving chitosan in aqueous acetic acid to obtain aqueous acetic acid-chitosan solution. The aqueous graphene oxide solution and aqueous acetic acid-chitosan solution are mixed, and then stirred for 1 hour to obtain the desired product i.e. chitosan-graphene oxide composite material. USE - Method for preparing chitosan-graphene oxide composite material for cigarette filter (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare chitosan-graphene oxide composite material in an easy and cost-effective manner, where the chitosan-graphene oxide composite material has wide application prospect and reduces harmful effects of cigarette.
