NOVELTY - Low-temperature negative pole piece comprises 100 pts. wt. lead powder, 0.2-1 pts. wt. carbon black material, 0.2-1.5 pts. wt. barium sulfate, 0.2-1 pts. wt. humic acid, 0.1-2 pts. wt. organic expanding agent/porous absorbing carrier composite additive, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. short fiber, 10-20 pts. wt. water and 4-8 pts. wt. sulfuric acid of 1-1.4 g/cm3. The preparation method of the organic expanding agent/porous adsorption carrier composite additive is: pouring the organic expanding agent and solvent into a container, stirring for 10-30 minutes, after the organic expansion agent is dissolved, adding into porous adsorption carrier, continuously stirring for 10-30 minutes, allowing to stand for 20-60 minutes, taking out the porous adsorption carrier absorbing the organic expanding agent, and baking for 2-4 hours. The weight ratio of the organic expanding agent to the porous adsorption carrier is 5:1-1:5. USE - Low-temperature type negative pole piece for lead-acid storage battery used in electric two-wheel vehicle, communication backup and automobile starting field. ADVANTAGE - The low-temperature type negative pole piece can keep the organic expansion agent content in the negative plate in the circulation process is kept slowly and stable, slowing down the low temperature performance in the battery circulation process, and improves the shelf life of the battery.
