▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The nanoparticulate material has a carbon nanomaterial having several active sites and sulfur is attached to the active sites of the carbon nano-material. The sulfur forms 50-99 wt.% of the composition when measured using one or both of CHNS elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis. The carbon nano material is selected from carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, fullerenes, graphenes, graphene oxides, nanographites, carbon blacks, acetylene blacks, thermal blacks, mesoporous carbons, carbon quantum dots, and graphene quantum dots. USE - Nanoparticulate material is useful as active material in cathodes and anodes of sulfur-based batteries, which are useful in portable electronic devices, electric-grid energy storage, and electric transportation. ADVANTAGE - The nanoparticulate material has enhanced properties, and provides the sulfur-decorated carbon nanomaterial with high energy densities and lower costs. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a sulfur battery. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a graphical view of a nanoparticulate material.
