NOVELTY - The preparation of vanadium tetrasulfide/graphene composite material for sodium ion battery electrode, involves dissolving graphene oxide in deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing to form graphene oxide solution, adding vanadium source and sulfur source to graphene oxide solution according to vanadium and sulfur molar ratio of (0.95-1.05):(4.95-5.05), stirring for 0.5-6 hours to form mixed solution, transferring the mixed solution to the inner tank of the reaction vessel, hydrothermally reacting at 140-240 degrees C for 12-48 hours, cooling the reaction vessel to room temperature, washing the obtained product and drying. The concentration of graphene oxide is 0.3-30 mg/ml. USE - Preparation of vanadium tetrasulfide/graphene composite material for sodium ion battery electrode. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of vanadium tetrasulfide/graphene composite material with high repeatability by simple and economical process, effectively improves the electrical conductivity of the composite electrode material, improves high rate characteristics and cycle stability, and achieves high large current charge and discharge capacity of battery.
