NOVELTY - Artificial antigen presenting cell comprises a DNA microparticle-based artificial antigen-presenting cell having micro-flower structure, where the DNA microparticles are loaded with T cell activity regulators. USE - The cell is useful in medicine composition for preventing and treating cancer including melanoma, small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, glioma, liver cancer, thyroid tumor, stomach cancer, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, Hodgkin's lymphoma, urothelial cell carcinoma, glioblastoma, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer, esophageal carcinoma, head and neck cancer, mesothelioma, sarcoma, cholangiocarcinoma, adenocarcinoma of the small intestine, childhood malignancy, epidermal cancer, testicular cancer, hematological cancer, and brain cancer, and autoimmune diseases including inflammation, allergy, rheumatoid arthritis, Still's disease, lupus, multiple sclerosis, systemic sclerosis, Crohn's disease, Sjogren's syndrome, primary biliary cirrhosis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, type 1 diabetes, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, Goodpasture syndrome, Graves' disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, myasthenia gravis, pemphigus, psoriasis, and vasculitis by increasing level and activity of cytotoxic T cells, granzyme B-expressing CD8 T cells, tumor invasive capacity of cytotoxic T cells, and reducing level and activity of Treg cells (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The artificial antigen presenting cell is based on DNA microparticles having a micro-flower structure, has wrinkled surface and porous interior, so that area in contact with microvilli of T cells can be further expanded, maximizes antibody modification capacity, and microporous structure inside can be easily loaded with various cytokines and ligands, supports various immune cell modulating substances, and can appropriately regulate activity and differentiation of immune cells, regulates immune function, and can be applied in vivo due to its high biocompatibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing artificial antigen-presenting cell, comprising (a) preparing DNA microparticles having a micro-flower structure; and (b) mixing the DNA micro-particles and the T-cell activity-regulating factor to support the T-cell activity-regulating factor on the particles.
