NOVELTY - Graphene oxide straw core powder composite adsorbent in which straw core powder is activated by zinc chloride solution, self-assembly of straw core powder and graphene oxide is achieved in a zinc chloride solution, and then freeze-dried to obtain graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide straw core powder composite adsorbent is simple to prepare, has realizes efficient removal, high adsorption amount of the cation dye and excellent absorption effect, and is convenient to prepare. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene oxide straw core powder composite adsorbent, which involves: (A) preparing activated straw core powder by drying the straw at 40 degrees C for 24 hours, peeling off the straw epidermis, taking straw core section to 1.5-2.5 cm small section, crushing and passing through 100 mesh sieve to obtain straw core powder; (B) adding straw core powder to 10% zinc chloride aqueous solution in material to the liquid ratio of 0.1 to 0.2 g/mL; (C) stirring mixture in a water bath at 75 degrees C for 1 hour to obtain colloid; (D) filtering colloid, washing three times with absolute ethanol and distilled water, and drying to obtain activated straw core powder; (E) preparing graphene oxide straw core powder composite adsorbent by dispersing 0.5-0.95 pts. wt. activated straw core powder in water at a dispersion concentration of 0.1 g/mL, stirring at a speed of 150 revolutions per minute, and stirring for 10 minutes to obtain uniformly dispersed straw core powder suspension; (F) adding straw core powder suspension, 0.05-0.5 pts. wt. graphene oxide dropwise, stirring for 30 to 60 minutes to obtain a gel, and then ultrasonicated for 30 minutes to obtain graphene oxide and straw; (G) adding core crosslinked mixture and 10 to 15 mg/g graphene oxide suspension, freezing mixture of the graphene oxide and the straw core powder at (-20) degrees C for 12 hours; and (H) freezing drying frozen dispersion system to obtain graphene oxide straw core powder composite adsorbent.
