NOVELTY - Telemetric device (1000) comprises: an enclosure; a circuit board (1300) contained in the enclosure (1200); and a female snap connector comprising a base, a cap opposing the base for forming a depth for the female snap connector and a socketformed into the cap for receiving the stud of a co-operational male snap connector and configured to undergo elastic deformation to comply to the passage of the complementary shape of the stud within the socketduring insertion and removal of the stud in the depth dimension of the female snap connector, where the base material of the female snap connector is or comprises a conductive elastomer and the female snap connector is mechanically and electrically connected to the circuit board and extends through the enclosure. USE - Telemetric device for use in wearable device for integrating within a heart rate monitor belt or garment. ADVANTAGE - The telemetric device includes female snap connector made from a base material comprising conductive polymer so that there are fewer points of discontinuity in the electrical path between the snap connectors making the electrical connection very secure and the elasticity of the conductive polymer provides for a reliable mechanical connection. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a wearable device, which comprises: a host garment configured to be worn by a user; and a first and second electrode unit incorporated to the host garment and comprising an electrode containing the female snap connector, a body mechanically connecting the electrode to the female snap connector and a conductive passageway formed to the body for electrically connecting the electrode to the female snap connector, where the electrode units are incorporated to the host garment and positioned such that the female snap connectors are set adjacent to each other to receive cooperative male snap connectors of the associated telemetric device.
