NOVELTY - A conductive polymer composition comprises 0.001-10 wt.% polythiophene (A) containing at least two structural units (I) and structural units (II) and 0.001-5 wt.% carbon material (B). USE - Conductive polymer composition used for forming film (claimed) for solid electrolytic capacitors. Can also be used for electromagnetic wave shields, electrochromic device, electrode material, thermoelectric conversion material, transparent conductive film, chemical sensor and actuator. ADVANTAGE - The conductive polymer composition has high conductivity than conductive polymer film made of each carbon material alone. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A conductive polymer composition comprises 0.001-10 wt.% polythiophene (A) containing at least two structural unit of formula (I) and structural unit of formula (II) and 0.001-5 wt.% carbon material (B). R =H, methyl, ethyl, 3-6C linear or branched alkyl, or F; m=1-10;and n=0 or 1. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: manufacture of the conductive polymer film, which involves applying the conductive polymer composition to a support, and drying the composition; and the conductive polymer film, which comprises polythiophene (A) containing at least two structural units of at least one structural units (I) and structural units (II) and carbon material (B).
