▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The method involves measuring strain measurement at a point along a length of a parent wellbore (102a,102b) by a strain measurement device (106a,106b). A strain data comprising the strain measurement is transmitted to a computing device (108a,108b). A fracture (116a,116b) proximity to the parent well bore is determined by inputting the strain measurements into a fracture strain model and solving for a location of a hydraulic fracture. A sub-surface process or a sub-surface decision is adjusted based on the determined fracture proximity during a treatment of a child well (100b) by the computing device. The strain measurement device comprises a distributed acoustic sensor fiber optic cable (110a,110b), a tiltmeter, a resistive strain gauge acting on multiple faces of a polyhedron, a piezoresistive sensor, a graphene transistor strain sensor, a Fiber Bragg grating strain sensor or a gravitational direction sensing element. USE - Method for detecting distance between hydraulic fracture of child well and parent wellbore of parent well. ADVANTAGE - The method effectively determines the distance between the fracture of the child well and the wellbore of the parent well. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a system for detecting distance between hydraulic fracture of child well and parent wellbore of parent well. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the system for detecting distance between hydraulic fracture of child well and parent wellbore of parent well.
