NOVELTY - A composite material comprises graphene or its derivatives, layered double hydroxides that is dispersed on graphene or its derivative and nano-elemental sulfur that is distributed on graphene or its derivatives. USE - Composite material for anode of lithium-sulfur battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has improved stability, improves coulombic efficiency of lithium-sulfur battery, and effectively alleviates shuttle effect of lithium sulfur battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite material, which involves obtaining layered double hydroxide, peeling off, adding a sulfur source to dispersion of graphene or its derivative, converting sulfur source into nano-elemental sulfur on graphene or its derivative by redox reaction and washing.
