NOVELTY - Preparing anti-protein adsorption marine antifouling agent involves: ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide (GO) in water to obtain an aqueous solution of GO, and adding copper oxide (Cu2O) to the aqueous solution of GO and stirring to obtain a GO/Cu2O composite. The GO/Cu2O complex is added to the dichloromethane solution of triethylamine and stirred to obtain a suspension. Dichloromethane solution of 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide (BIBB) is prepared by adding dichloromethane solution of BIBB dropwise to the suspension and stirring at room temperature after the dropwise addition to obtain BIBB-modified GO/Cu2O complex B-GO/Cu2O. The aqueous solution of B-GO/Cu2O complex, sulfobetaine methacrylate (SBMA) and methanol are sequentially added to the flask, and the flask is degassed in a nitrogen stream followed by adding 2,2-bipyridine and copper bromide to the flask, continue degassing under nitrogen flow, and ending reaction. USE - Method for preparing anti-protein adsorption marine antifouling agent that is utilized for preventing attachment of marine organisms. ADVANTAGE - The antifouling agent has excellent marine antifouling effect, combines sulfobetaine with anti-protein adsorption and cuprous oxide with biological toxicity through graphene oxide material to make a marine antifouling agent, can kill marine organisms, prevent marine organisms from attaching, and marine organisms from secreting proteins from the source to attach to the substrate, and ensures improved stability and service life of the material, when the material is applied with antifouling coating.
