NOVELTY - Graphene comprises a first region whose surface is not treated with hydrogen, and a second region whose surface is treated with hydrogen. The first region has band gap of 0.1-5.5 eV. USE - The graphene is useful in an electric component such as transistor and a touch panel (all claimed) , where the touch panel is useful in an image display device such as LCD, a field emission display device, a plasma display device and an electroluminescent device of an electronic device such as mobile phone. ADVANTAGE - The graphene can reduce process time and process cost of the electric component. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a patterned graphene formation method, comprising processing the graphene with plasma, and forming the pattern on the graphene using lithography.
