NOVELTY - Preparing polymer foams by thermal decomposition of azodicarbonamide involves inhibiting a formation of formamide residues by the adding hydroxylated substances. USE - Method for preparing polymer foams that are utilized in plates for floors, shoe soles, toys, thermal insulation and light polymers. ADVANTAGE - The method enables elimination or reduction of the levels of formamide present in the polymer after its foaming allows the use of the manufactured foams, eliminating or reducing the risks to health and the environment.
