NOVELTY - The optical switch has an optical switch main portion which is provided with a pump light source (2) that controls the permeability of the incident light (1) through a graphene layer (3). The incident light (10) is irradiated from the pump light source is selectively irradiated into the graphene layer. The power of the pump light source is determined for enhancing the Fermi level of the graphene layer, such that the energy of the incident light from the pump light source is lower than Fermi level of the graphene layer. USE - Optical switch used in optoelectronic and computing device. ADVANTAGE - The pump light source controls permeability of incident light through graphene layer, such that incident light is irradiated form pump light source is selectively irradiated into graphene layer, such that the fast processing speed of the optical switch can be attained. The processing speed and precision control of the optoelectronic and computing device can be improved effectively.
