▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Preparation of uranium carbide ceramic microsphere involves (a) oxidizing the metal uranium or uranium oxide at high temperature to generate uranium oxide powder, which is dissolved in nitric acid to form uranyl nitrate solution, (b) uniformly dispersing the carbon source in the uranyl nitrate solution, (c) mixing the uranyl nitrate solution mixed with the carbon source with thickener and dispersing gel to obtain gel ball, and (d) aging the gel, washing, drying, calcining, carrying out carbon thermal reduction and sintering. USE - Preparation of uranium carbide ceramic microspheres used in nuclear reactor and in fuel preparation applications. ADVANTAGE - The method obtains spherical uranium carbide microspheres with excellent spherical degree and uniform size.
