▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Room temperature catalytic oxidation formaldehyde composite material comprises platinum/Nickel-iron layered double hydroxide/reduced graphene oxide (NiFe-LDH/rGO) ternary composite material. USE - The material is useful in an air purifier (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: have a larger specific surface area, thus exposing more surface active sites for the oxidation of formaldehyde molecules, which is beneficial to the catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde; have good dispersibility and uniform distribution, which is conducive to the activation of oxygen atoms on the surface of NiFe-LDH and the activation of adsorbed oxygen molecules, and promotes the catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the room temperature catalytic oxidation formaldehyde composite material comprising (a) stirring and dispersing the graphene powder in concentrated sulfuric acid and oil bath, adding sodium nitrate and stirring, adding Potassium permanganate, stirring under ice bath, adding deionized water, stirring at room temperature, adding hydrogen peroxide solution, separating solid and liquid to obtain solid, diluting the solid, performing ultrasonic treatment, obtaining graphene oxide (GO) suspension, (b) dissolving the nickel sulfate, ferrous sulfate, urea and trisodium citrate dihydrate in deionized water, adding the GO suspension, reacting under sealed heating condition, separating solid and liquid to obtain solid, washing the solid, freezing and drying to obtain NiFe-LDH/rGO intermediate and (c) adding the NiFe-LDH/rGO intermediate into the ion water, ultrasonically processing, adding Chloroplatinic acid hexahydrate solution, stirring, adding reducing agent, solid-liquid separating to obtain solid, washing the solid, freezing and drying to obtain ternary composite material.
