NOVELTY - Submarine cable shielding material with radiating function comprises 50-60 pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 30-40 pts. wt. polypropylene resin, 25-40 pts. wt. filler, 2-7 pts. wt. plasticizer, 3-8 pts. wt. thermally conductive powder, 2-5 pts. wt. dispersant, 1-5 pts. wt. lubricant, 2-8 pts. wt. coupling agent, 1-6 pts. wt. anti-hydrolytic agent and 0.5-3 pts. wt. antioxidant. USE - The submarine cable shielding material is useful in seabed application environment for telecommunication transmission. ADVANTAGE - The submarine cable shielding material improves thermal-conducting and radiating function of the shielding material, prolongs service life of the shielding material, improves strength of the shielding material, and improves hydrolysis resistance of the shielding material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing submarine cable shielding material with radiating function, comprising (S1) providing each component, (S2) mixing thermally conductive powder, dispersant, lubricant, anti-hydrolysis agent and antioxidant to obtain premixed product, (S3) mixing the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, polypropylene resin, filler, plasticizer and coupling agent, kneading with the premixed product to obtain a colloid, and (S4) extruding the colloid, granulating, and obtaining the submarine cable shielding material with radiating function.
