NOVELTY - Producing graphene, comprises treating crystalline graphite with a solution of ammonium persulfate in sulfuric acid containing no free water, holding the resulting intercalated graphite compound before expansion, performing hydrolysis and washing with water, and carrying out ultrasonic dispersion in an aqueous surfactant solution, where the surfactant is a mixture of oligomeric compounds containing cumulative double carbon-carbon bonds and amino groups (aminocumulene) at a pH of an aqueous solution of greater than or equal to 6 and a weight ratio of aminocumulene:graphene is 0.25:1-4:1. USE - The process is useful for producing graphene.
