NOVELTY - A graphene coated lithium titanate cathode comprises lithium titanate and crystalline flake graphite piece at ratio of 50:1-400:1. USE - Graphene coated lithium titanate cathode for use in a battery. ADVANTAGE - The cathode has improved flatulence and increased discharge capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing graphene coated lithium titanate cathode, which involves leaching the crystalline flake graphite piece in N-methyl pyrrolidone as distribution solvent for 24 hours, adding the lithium titanate into the crystalline flake graphite piece and N-methyl pyrrolidone mixed solution, grinding the mixture, filtering and evaporating the mixture to remove residues, and drying the residue free mixture to obtain a finished product.
