NOVELTY - Portable drinking water container with water filtration system comprises a screw cap at the top with a removable water filtration fitting to as the cartridge and a squeezable cylindrical water storage unit (1) of suitable material, a three-layer filtration system configured with an ultra-filtration membrane (2) surrounded by porous non-woven layer and embedded within a casing (3, 7), a graphene oxide (GO) based nano-filtration membrane (4) just above the ultra filtration membrane unit housed in between two further low-pressure ultrafiltration membranes ensuring non-displacement due to incoming water pressure, after a clearance space (6) above an activated charcoal block (5), and a cylindrical protrusion (8) of the inner surface the screw cap projecting downwards inside the water storage unit. USE - The portable drinking water container with water filtration system is used for water purifying applications, and in science, biomedicine, tissue engineering, sensors, energy, catalysis, and environmental science applications. ADVANTAGE - The drinking water container is portable, non-electric, and cost-effective, and provides 100% safety and potability with easy manual operation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Portable drinking water container with water filtration system comprises a screw cap of the container at the top with a removable water filtration fitting to as the cartridge and a squeezable cylindrical water storage unit (1) of suitable material, where the cylindrical water storage unit having an opening/inlet, and the screw cap screws on to the thread around the opening/inlet of the cylindrical water storage unit, a three-layer filtration system, the removable water filtration fitting forms a three layer filtration system is configured with an ultra-filtration membrane (2) surrounded by porous non-woven layer and embedded within a casing (3, 7), and a graphene oxide (GO) based nano-filtration membrane (4) just above the ultra filtration membrane unit housed in between two further low-pressure ultrafiltration membranes ensuring non-displacement due to incoming water pressure, after a clearance space (6) above an activated charcoal block (5), a cylindrical protrusion (8) of the inner surface the screw cap projecting downwards inside the water storage unit, where the removable water filtration fitting is encased by a casing with means for installing the cartridge within a cylindrical protrusion of the inner surface the screw cap projecting downwards inside the water storage unit for holding the cartridge as a whole in place while the cylindrical protrusion also, assures concentric positioning of the cartridge, a resilient cylindrical peripheral seal, and the casing is inserted into the cylindrical protrusion with a resilient cylindrical peripheral seal preventing water leakage besides providing significant resistance to the withdrawal of the cartridge from the cap, a nozzle/water outlet (9) with nozzle cap projecting upwards from the outer side of the screw cap, after opening the nozzle cap and squeezing the cylindrical water storage unit to pump the liquid through the cartridge for triple filtration the nozzle/water outlet facilitates direct access of the filtered water to user for drinking, and an arrangement of thin perforated plates at certain intervals of the purification process to serve as an impedance to the possibility of the shooting of a jet or stream of water through the uncapped nozzle. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of using the portable drinking water container with water filtration system.
