NOVELTY - The method of removing sulfate impurities in graphene oxide synthesis system, involves (i) synthesizing graphene oxide and obtaining graphene oxide synthesis system, (ii) mixing organic solvent with aqueous solution containing metal cations to obtain sulfate washing liquid, dividing sulfate washing liquid into upper aqueous layer and lower organic solvent layer, (iii) transferring synthesis system to aqueous layer in sulfate washing liquid close to boundary of two layers and maintaining, so that graphene oxide in synthesis system is precipitated into organic solvent layer. USE - Method of removing sulfate impurities in graphene oxide synthesis system. ADVANTAGE - The method removes sulfate impurity in the graphene oxide synthesis system in a simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The method of removing sulfate impurities in graphene oxide synthesis system, involves (i) using Hummers method or modified Hummers method to synthesize graphene oxide and obtaining graphene oxide synthesis system, (ii) mixing organic solvent having higher density than water and not miscible with water with aqueous solution containing metal cations to obtain sulfate washing liquid, dividing sulfate washing liquid into an upper aqueous layer and a lower organic solvent layer where the metal cation is capable of forming a precipitate with sulfate, (iii) transferring graphene oxide synthesis system to aqueous layer in the sulfate washing liquid close to the boundary of the two layers and maintaining, so that the graphene oxide in the graphene oxide synthesis system is precipitated into the organic solvent layer.
