NOVELTY - An apparatus consists of a device configured for outputting an electromagnetic radiation and impinging the electromagnetic radiation on graphite oxide with an intensity of 0.5-7 W/cm2. USE - Apparatus is used as kit used for producing graphene (all claimed) used in electroconductive polymer composite, advanced electromagnetic interference shielding material, nanofluidics, battery, and engineering and environmental applications. ADVANTAGE - The apparatus enables efficient production of graphene with excellent thermal conductivity, electroconductivity, and strength, with high productivity at low temperature, by fast and environmentally-friendly process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) kit for producing graphene, which consists of graphite oxide and the device; and (2) graphene, which has conductivity of more than 1000 S/m and oxygen content of less than 5 wt.%. The graphene is capable of producing a Raman spectrum having bands at 1360-1570 cm-1. The intensity of the band at 1360 cm-1 is less than or equal to half the intensity of band at 1570 cm-1.
