NOVELTY - A bottle comprises a polymer blend comprising a polymer (P1) which is polyethylene terephthalate, and 5-15 wt.% polymer (P2) which is one of polyethylene furanoate or polyethylene naphthalate, a shoulder portion, and a sidewall, and at least 50% of the polyethylene terephthalate which is recycled polyethylene terephthalate. USE - Bottle e.g. hot-fill beverage container (claimed) used for hot-filling juices, fruit-based beverages, vegetable-based beverages, energy drinks, and sports drinks. ADVANTAGE - The bottle has a top-load capacity of at least 25 pounds, has a crystallinity of greater than or equal to 25% and has increased recycled content and may increase strength of the preforms and beverage containers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a preform for beverage container (100), which comprises the polymer blend which is monolayer blend, and comprising a reheat agent; (2) manufacture of beverage container for hot-fill process; and (3) manufacture of the preform.
