NOVELTY - A graphene-protein composite airgel is prepared by adding graphite oxide, protein, and reducing agent in aqueous solution, sonicating to obtain homogeneous solution, heating in water bath to obtain graphene-protein composite hydrogel, and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene-protein composite airgel (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Graphene-protein composite airgel is 3-dimensional, porous, and flexible, has good pollutant adsorption capacity and low cost, and reduces toxicity.
