NOVELTY - Designing S/C dual-band multilayer tunable frequency selection surface involves: adding polyvinyl butyral (PVB) powder to absolute ethanol, stirring with a magnetic stirrer until the solution is transparent to obtain an ethanol solution of PVB, adding different amounts and types of powder comprising carbonyl iron, cross-doped carbonyl iron and graphene, barium titanate and graphene, tributyl phosphate and dibutyl phthalate, stirring in a vacuum stirrer to obtain a suspension, casting to obtain a film, and air drying or naturally drying to obtain films; (2) adding the films to a laser engraver, importing drawn honeycomb structure drawings into the engraver, and engraving according to drawings to obtain honeycomb structure on film and single-layer frequency selection surfaces; and stacking the surfaces in different combinations, testing absorbing performance, drawing reflection loss curve, and summarizing the change law of the absorbing performance. USE - The method is useful for designing S/C dual-band multilayer tunable frequency selection surface. ADVANTAGE - The method solves the problems of poor low-frequency wave absorption performance and single working frequency in the frequency selection surface, and provides frequency selection surface with excellent stealth effect for radar wave detection in the S and C bands.
