NOVELTY - Preparation of self-assembled monolithic oxidized graphene framework film involves performing charge modification of a surface of a carrier, preparing a layer spacing-controllable graphene solution, performing chemical deposition of resultant product on the modified surface of the carrier, and forming a dense self-assembled group. USE - Preparation of self-assembled monolithic oxidized graphene framework film for aqueous desalination and removal of hydrogen from mixed gas (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of self-assembled monolithic oxidized graphene framework film having high density, and excellent mechanical strength, and selectivity with respect to gas, liquid and ions, with controllable sieving channels and film thickness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) use of self-assembled monolithic oxidized graphene framework film for removing hydrogen from mixed gas; and (2) use of self-assembled monolithic oxidized graphene framework film for aqueous desalination.
