NOVELTY - Method for immobilizing enzyme based on a metal oxide and metal hydroxide functionalized carbon material, involves obtaining metal oxide and metal hydroxide as functionalized reagents to absorb carbon materials, performing surface functionalization, optionally introducing functionalized groups, in which the surface of the carbon material is covered or partially covered by functionalized reagent, and immobilizing enzyme on the functionalized carbon material in an adsorption or covalent manner. USE - The method is useful for immobilizing enzyme. ADVANTAGE - The method functionalizes carbon materials based on metal oxides and metal hydroxides, which retains high adsorption power of carbon materials, protects protein structure of the enzyme, and maintains and enhances activity of the enzyme, and is simple in operation and program, and high in activity.
