NOVELTY - The utility model claims a tunable terahertz wave absorber based on graphene plate metamaterial; the wave absorbing device is composed of a graphene layer, a medium layer and a plane metal layer; the graphene layer is composed of single-layer net graphene; the graphene carrier concentration can be changed by the external bias voltage, which can reach the control of the absorption amplitude; The dielectric layer is composed of a first silicon dioxide layer, a silicon layer and a second silicon dioxide layer. when the terahertz wave is incident to the wave absorbing device, the graphene layer makes part of the light wave enter the medium layer; the terahertz wave is reflected in the resonant cavity composed of the medium layer for multiple times until the consumption is exhausted; and the transmission of the incident light wave is blocked by the planar metal layer.
