▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A proton battery comprises anode formed of graphene oxide from acidic pH, cathode from pH greater than acidic pH of anode, and charge collectors deposited on anode and cathode. USE - A proton battery for biological sensors, mobile devices, and electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The battery exhibits fast recovery of its voltage within minutes after being fully discharged and without the application of external energy. The supercapacitor properties of the battery can provide a relatively quick regeneration charge, which shortens the charging time of mobile electronics and electric vehicles. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) proton battery comprising 1st graphene oxide-based material having 1st functionality of 1st concentration, 2nd material having 2nd functionality of 2nd concentration, junction defined by interface of 1st graphene oxide-based material positioned adjacent and in contact with 2nd material, and electrodes formed on each of 1st graphene oxide-based material and 2nd material in which protons are configured to be dissociated from 1st functionality of 1st graphene oxide-based material by water and are configured to be migratable across the junction to 2nd material based on a pH gradient across the 1st graphene oxide-based material and the 2nd material; and (2) operation of proton battery which involves dissociating hydrogen from functional groups of 1st graphene oxide-based material to form protons, causing protons to diffuse from 1st graphene oxide-based material across a junction to a 2nd material, and determining a value representing a voltage based on the diffusion of the protons to the 2nd material. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic diagram of a concentration cell.
