NOVELTY - The material has graphene layers and a silicene layer that are arranged with an optional layer or carbon nano-tube layers, where the carbon nano-tube layers are present and the graphene layer and the carbon nano-tube layers are separated by the silicene layer. The material comprises properties that stop objects with inertial or kinetic energy for penetrating a structure of thickness constructed of the composite material. A structure of the carbon nano-tube layers is arranged around the graphene layers and the silicene layer. USE - Impact resistant composite material e.g. re-enforced concrete material. ADVANTAGE - The material can combine a number of different materials to utilise different properties and allow semi-conductor properties. The material utilizes safety applications, so that risk of impact is negated. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of graphene layers.
