NOVELTY - Slurry electrode consists of active material, conductive agent, polymer A, polymer B, and electrolyte. Polymer A is in fibrous form, allowing the solid particles of the active material and conductive agent to wrap around it without restricting the transfer of electrons and ions. Polymer B binds with the electrolyte, rendering the electrode semi-solid with poor flowability, preventing electrolyte overflow from the electrode, and ensuring sufficient infiltration into the active material particles. The mass ratio of the active material in the slurry is 50-90%. The mass ratio of the conductive agent in the slurry is 1-10%. Polymer A is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), with a mass ratio of 0.5-5% in the slurry. Polymer B is polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), PVDF-hexafluoropropylene copolymer (PVDF-HFP), polyethylene oxide (PEO), polyacrylonitrile (PAN), and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), with a mass ratio of 0.5-5% in the slurry. USE - Slurry state electrode for a slurry battery i.e. lithium ion battery. Can also be used for a lithium polymer battery. ADVANTAGE - The method controls the mixing and rolling temperature and repeatedly rolling method to realize the fibrosis of the polymer A and fully and uniformly mix with the active particles and conductive agent particles, so as to wind the active material and the conductive agents solid particles together to form the whole electrode. The method uses electrolyte mixed material, fully mixing the electrolyte and active particles wet interface in the mixing process, improving interface reaction dynamics. The thickness of the membrane electrode prepared by the method can be more than 1 mm, effectively improving the load amount of active material; and it avoids the drying technique of high energy consumption. The electrolyte also can fully soak the solid particles, improving the interface reactions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the preparation method of paste electrode.
