NOVELTY - A reduced graphene oxide-thymine composite is prepared by dissolving thymine-1-acetic acid in organic solvent, adding alkali to obtain solution in alkaline environment, synthesizing acid catalyst at 0-30 degrees C, activating for 0.5-2 hours, adding p-phenylenediamine, strongly stirring for 12-72 hours, reacting, concentrating, filtering, drying in vacuum, performing Hummers treatment using synthetic graphite oxide, ultrasonically dispersing obtained graphite oxide in water, and adding diazotization catalyst, synthesized thymine aniline compound, and synthetic graphite oxide-thymine complex. USE - Preparation of reduced graphene oxide-thymine composite for treatment of metal ion in wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Preparation process is simple, and product has good repeatability, large absorption capacity and specific surface area, and high selectivity and yield.
