NOVELTY - A graphene-hydrotalcite-based composite is a mixture of organically modified hydrotalcite, and graphene or modified graphene. USE - Graphene-hydrotalcite-based composite used as additive in diesel engine oil, gasoline engine oil, grease and modified diesel engine oil (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-hydrotalcite-based composite is manufactured efficiently with high quality and high yield by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) usage of graphene-hydrotalcite-based composite as an additive in diesel engine oil, gasoline engine oil and grease; (2) modified diesel engine oil, which is obtained by adding graphene-hydrotalcite-based composite to a diesel engine oil; and (3) preparation of graphene-hydrotalcite-based composite, which involves preparing organically modified hydrotalcite, forming pillared graphite by electrolytic peeling method, adding organically modified hydrotalcite and pillared graphite into a mixed solution of isopropyl alcohol and water in mass ratio of 0.2-1, stirring, adding acetone, stirring for 5-20 minutes, separating, adding ethanol and distilled water, ultrasonically treating for 10-30 minutes, and freeze-drying.
