NOVELTY - Preparing Celgard diaphragm modified with an interlayer widened molybdenum diselenide nanotube involves (a) dispersing n-octylamine in anhydrous ethanol, adding molybdenum trioxide powder and selenium dioxide powder thereinto, and uniformly mixing to obtain a reaction solution, subjecting the reaction solution to cationic reduction reaction to obtain interlayer widened molybdenum diselenide nanotubes;and (ii) mixing the interlayer widened molybdenum diselenide nanotubes with a conductive agent, an agglomerant, and a solvent to obtain a slurry, and uniformly coating the slurry on a Celgard diaphragm to obtain a Celgard diaphragm modified with an interlayer widened molybdenum diselenide nanotube. USE - The method for preparing Celgard diaphragm modified with interlayer widened molybdenum diselenide nanotube is used in preparing lithium sulfur battery diaphragm material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses interlayer width molybdenum diselenide nano-tube material to coat the Celgard to obtain modified Celgard separator, limits the shuttle effect of multi-sulfur ion, allows free diffusion of lithium-ion and improves the performance of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a Celgard separator modified with interlayer widened molybdenum diselenide nanotube, is prepared as mentioned above.
