NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene involves preparing a mixture by mixing expanded graphite and liquid nitrogen, and applying ultrasonic waves to the mixture, such that the content (X) (wt.%) of expanded graphite calculated using a specific relation (I) and the total energy (Y) (J) of ultrasonic waves applied to the mixture satisfy a specific relation (II). USE - Manufacture of graphene. Uses include but are not limited to touch panel, flexible display, high-efficiency solar cell, heat-dissipation film, coating material, ultra-thin speaker, seawater desalination filter, secondary battery electrode, and high-speed charger. ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient manufacture of graphene with high quality, by simple and fast process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of graphene involves preparing a mixture by mixing expanded graphite and liquid nitrogen, and applying ultrasonic waves to the mixture, such that the content (X) (wt.%) of expanded graphite calculated using the relation: ratio of weight (g) of expanded graphite/(sum of weight (g) of liquid nitrogen and weight (g) of expanded graphite)x 100 (I), and the total energy (Y) (J) of ultrasonic waves applied to the mixture satisfy the relation: 5290X+35000 less than Y less than -3360X+117310 (II). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene manufacturing apparatus, which consists of a container for containing a mixture of expanded graphite and liquid nitrogen, and an ultrasonic probe for applying ultrasonic waves to the mixture.
