▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Electrolyte composition comprises a first quaternary ammonium salt (I), a second quaternary ammonium salt (II), and an electrolyte solvent. USE - The electrolyte composition is used for exfoliation of graphite for graphene for conductive ink for 3-dimensional printing and supercapacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrolyte composition has improved exfoliation rate of graphite to provide graphene with high crystallinity and conductivity at high yields, and ensures reliable and rapid exfoliation of high conductive graphene at an economically competitive cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Electrolyte composition comprises a first quaternary ammonium salt of formula (I): (R1)4N+X-, a second quaternary ammonium salt of formula (II): (R2)4N+Y-, and an electrolyte solvent. R1 = linear 1-2C alkyl group; X- = counterion; R2 = linear or branched 5-24C hydrocarbyl group;and Y- = counterion. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for exfoliating graphite, which involves (a) providing a system comprising a working electrode comprising graphite, a counter electrode, and an electrolyte composition, where the working electrode and counter electrode are at least partly immersed in the electrolyte composition, and (b) applying a potential difference across the working electrode and counter electrode to generate graphene from the working electrode; (2) a graphene obtained by the above method; (3) a conductive ink comprising the graphene; and (4) a supercapacitor comprising an electrode comprising a composite material formed from the graphene, and manganese dioxide.
