NOVELTY - Preparing vinyl functionalized graphene, comprises e.g. (i) preparing graphene oxide using graphite by modified Hummers method, and (ii) dispersing the graphene oxide in a suitable solvent, reacting with vinyl group-containing compound for many hours, centrifuging resulting product, then washing, and drying to obtain a black solid powder, where in the step (i) of preparing graphene oxide, for pre-oxidation process, used persulfate, the persulfate composed of sodium persulfate, potassium persulfate and/or ammonium persulfate, the reaction temperature is controlled at 80 degrees C, and the reaction time is 3-6 hours, in the process of preparing graphene oxide, the temperature of the system is controlled below 15 degrees C in the low temperature stage, and the temperature is controlled below 30 degrees C during the dilution process; and in second step, the solvent used is water, methanol, ethanol, tetrahydrofuran and/or dimethylformamide, the reaction temperature is 40-60 degrees C, the reaction time is 6-8 hours. USE - The method is useful for preparing vinyl functionalized graphene. ADVANTAGE - The vinyl functionalized graphene: has excellent reinforcement and toughening effect. The method: has simple preparation, convenient post-treatment; and is easy to control and economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing vinyl functionalized graphene, comprises (i) preparing graphene oxide using graphite by modified Hummers method, and (ii) dispersing the graphene oxide in a suitable solvent, reacting with vinyl group-containing compound for many hours, centrifuging resulting product, then washing, and drying to obtain a black solid powder, where in the step (i) of preparing graphene oxide, for pre-oxidation process, used persulfate, the persulfate composed of sodium persulfate, potassium persulfate and/or ammonium persulfate, the reaction temperature is controlled at 80 degrees C, and the reaction time is 3-6 hours, in the process of preparing graphene oxide, the temperature of the system is controlled below 15 degrees C in the low temperature stage, and the temperature is controlled below 30 degrees C during the dilution process; and in the second step, the solvent used is water, methanol, ethanol, tetrahydrofuran and/or dimethylformamide, the reaction temperature is 40-60 degrees C, the reaction time is 6-8 hours, the molar ratio between vinyl-containing reagent (silane coupling agent KH-570 ( gamma -methacryloyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane), silane coupling agent A-151 (vinyl triethoxysilane), silane coupling agent A-171 (vinyltrimethoxysilane) and silane coupling agent A-172 (vinyl tris(2-methoxy ethoxy)silane)) and graphene oxide is 5:1-10:1, and the washing solvent is lyophilized water.
