NOVELTY - Method for producing graphene oxide materials in electrolytic system comprises applying voltage between the working electrode and the counter electrode, stripping graphite and/or amorphous carbon under the action of electrolysis to obtain graphene oxide material, where the electrolytic system is illuminated before and/or during the application of voltage and the electrolysis system includes a working electrode, the working electrode contains graphite and/or amorphous carbon, a counter electrode which is a conductor and electrolyte is a conductive solution containing a carboxy group. USE - The method is useful for producing graphene oxide materials in electrolytic system.
