NOVELTY - Preparation of composite barium-based lubricating grease involves (i) mixing fatty acid with a base oil (a), heating, adding a base oil (b) and barium hydroxide octahydrate, when the temperature of the mixed solution is increased to 100-110 degrees C, and performing saponification reaction, (ii) gradually heating the reaction solution at 120-130 degrees C, removing water vapor, adding small molecular organic acid and tungsten disulfide powder or modified tungsten disulfide powder and stirring at a constant temperature, (iii) heating the mixed solution at 170-200 degrees C and refining at a high temperature, (iv) lowering the temperature of the mixed solution to less than 170 degrees C, quickly increasing the temperature of the mixed solution to 170-200 degrees C and maintaining at a constant temperature for a period of time, and (v) lowering the temperature of the mixed solution to less than 80 degrees C, homogenizing the mixed solution and degassing. The mass ratio of the oil (a) with respect to oil (b) is 1:1.5-2.5. USE - Preparation of composite barium-based lubricating grease (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of composite barium-based lubricating grease having excellent wear resistance and high-temperature resistance, and long service life.
